An Ordinariate Musicians Workshop

WHEN: 16-18 January 2025
WHERE: Chancery & Cathedral - Houston, TX
WHO: Ordinariate Choir Directors, Organists, Cantors and Choristers, Sacred Music Enthusiasts
This workshop is intended for those who participate at all levels in the sacred music of our Ordinariate communities. Along with plenary talks from experts in the field, musicians will enjoy breakout sessions on topics such as Anglican & Gregorian Chant, Mass Settings and musical preparations for the Mass, Organ technique, and the Theology of Sacred Music.
Thursday will begin with an optional organ crawl in the morning at St. Mary Seminary and their new Noack organ, and official Workshop check-in starting at 3pm.
Saturday will conclude with a presentation on the forthcoming Divine Worship: The Hymnal wrapping up by Noon.

NOTE: Each parish is responsible for sending and covering the cost of accommodations for participants. The chancery will be providing details by email to each participant about the accommodations for the weekend. Please plan accordingly.
